A participation is the link between you and one activity of one event: ‘this reciter, in this council, on this night’. Participations come from two directions — an organizer’s invitation, or creating one yourself — and every participation moves through statuses:

Status Meaning
Pending Waiting for an answer. An organizer’s invitation waits for your acceptance; a self-created one waits for the organizer’s approval (or the event’s publication, which approves it automatically).
Approved Confirmed; you appear in the event’s program, the event appears on your page and your followers are notified.
Rejected Declined — your apology to an invitation, or the organizer declining a request.
Withdrawn The organizer pulled the invitation back before it was answered.
Removed The participation ended — the activity was deleted or the participation removed.

When an organizer invites you, the invitation arrives in the Pending area of the Participations tab with a dialog: {organizer} invites you to participate on {event} at {time}.

Action What it does
Accept Confirms your participation; added to the program and shown on your public schedule.
Apologies Politely declines; the organizer can invite someone else.
Participation Details Opens the full event and activity information before you decide.

When you have agreed with a venue directly and want it on your schedule:

  1. Go to the Participations tab and tap + (Create Participation).
  2. Enter the participation title.
  3. Write a short description, optionally adding a YouTube link and poster.
  4. Search for and select the organizer.
  5. If it recurs, enable the repeat days and set the start/end dates and start time.
  6. Submit it.

A self-created participation starts Pending until the organizer approves it or the event is published (approving it automatically). From the participation page you can update details or delete it if plans change.

  • Review the Pending list regularly — it holds invitations and requests waiting for an answer.
  • Keep your program accurate: if you can no longer attend, delete the participation; the affected organizer is notified automatically.
  • Add photos of the gathering to your gallery afterwards.
